Born at GAEC MALBO (15), MELLOU was selected by the breed commission after having
produced at Nicolas RODIER’s farm (15). Son of INDIEN (RVS, scored 81) from LACROIX farm (15)
and of IVOIRE (MAT, scored 82), MELLOU is an excellent bull suitable for use on heifers, siring
small calves at birth.
His progeny is characterized by good width and thickness over the topline,
sound legs and plenty of depth.
His daughters in production show very functional pelvises: flat and well open at the hips,
trochanters and pin bones. They are grey in color with very good legs and are deep-bodied. They
are milky with good udders.
